A Harbourfront Classic, Restored with Reverence

For more than half a century, Dilly House has watched the harbour turn gold at dusk. Its restoration was guided by a single principle: honour what came before. The original hardware remains, and many of the wooden furnishings have been stripped back and refinished by hand, so the home's history is still something you can touch.

The attic has become the heart of the house, now a four-bedroom retreat crowned by a spectacular primary suite. Floor-to-ceiling glass pocket doors open the room to the water, framing harbour views by day and sunsets by evening. The suite's bath is generous and serene, with a large walk-in shower, double vanities and a separate lavatory.

On the upper level, two poured-concrete balconies invite you outdoors in any weather. Two guest bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bath.

The ground floor holds the home's warmth. A wooden bar, original to its era, sets the tone for easy evenings. There is a salon with a flat-screen television, a third guest suite, and a harbour-facing living and dining room that flows directly onto the back patio. Beyond it, a heated infinity pool looks out over the water.

Throughout the house, tropical hues and designer wallpaper depicting iconic Bahamian scenes and vintage maps give Dilly House a character entirely its own. Wireless internet runs through the whole home.

For larger parties, a private one-bedroom, one-bath guest cottage is available alongside the main house.
